Set up ASMTP on iPhone and iPad
The settings you will need

| Username | The login name from your ASMTP customer area (it looks like abc123-1) |
| Password | The password shown when the login was created. It is not your website password. |
| Incoming mail | Leave as it is. ASMTP only handles outgoing mail. |
If your provider blocks port 587 as well as 25, try 465, then 2525.
- Open Settings. Scroll to Mail (on older versions: Mail, then Accounts, or Passwords and Accounts).
- Tap Accounts, then tap the account you want to send through ASMTP.
- Tap the account name or email address at the top, then tap SMTP under Outgoing Mail Server.
- Tap "Add Server" under Other SMTP Servers.
- Enter:
- Host Name: smtp.asmtp.com
- User Name: your ASMTP username
- Password: your ASMTP password
- Tap Save. The iPhone will check the settings. Once it has, tap the new server to open it and confirm:
- Use SSL: on
- Authentication: Password
- Server Port: 587
- Go back. Under Primary Server, tap the old server and switch it off, so ASMTP is used.
- Send yourself a test message from the Mail app.
Note: this only works for accounts set up as IMAP or POP (most business and hosted mailboxes). For iCloud, Gmail, Outlook.com and Yahoo accounts, Apple does not allow a different outgoing server.
Trouble?
- "Cannot connect using SSL": try port 465 with Use SSL on.
- The server saves but sending fails: check the From address in the message is one you have verified with us.
