The settings you will need

| Outgoing mail server (SMTP) | smtp.asmtp.com |
| Port | 587 with STARTTLS (recommended), or 465 with SSL/TLS, or 2525 with STARTTLS |
| Encryption | STARTTLS on 587 and 2525, SSL/TLS on 465 |
| Authentication | Yes. Normal password. |
| Username | The login name from your ASMTP customer area (it looks like abc123-1) |
| Password | The password shown when the login was created. It is not your website password. |
| Incoming mail | Leave as it is. ASMTP only handles outgoing mail. |
If your provider blocks port 587 as well as 25, try 465, then 2525.
